Adopting

Jordan and I have tried to have a baby for quite sometime now and all the things we have tried unfortunately have not worked. But thats ok because we have gotten a strong impression that we should adopt! So the reason why I am posting this on my blog is because we need your help! If you have any contacts or know anyone that is considering adoption we would hope that you would please consider telling them about Jordan and I! Thank you so much!

The GREATEST Place On Earth!

My Mom and I went to my FAVORITE PLACE in the world Park City last week. It was so fun and beautiful!!! We struck gold at the Main Street shops and the outlets! Its always pretty there but right now the mountains look just like this! I love Park City, Jordan thinks I'm nuts because every time we decide to go on a trip he will say where do you want to go and of course my response is Park City!!! I would rather vacation here than anywhere in the world Hawaii and Paris included!! I highly recommend Hotel Park City (pictured up top) to any of you traveling to PC anytime soon! Its the most beautiful Hotel and too eat I would say Zoom is one of my favorites! Why I don't live there yet I do not know?!!

Pumkin Whoopie Pies!

These cookies are too die for! I got the recipe off the Martha Stewart website. That Martha she has done it again! I wish that mine would turn out like her pictures though? That never seems to happen for me?! I love Fall and these cookies are SO fall try them out!

Makes about 20

• FOR THE COOKIES
• 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (not Dutch-process)
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
• 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
• 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup packed dark-brown sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 cup whole milk
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• FOR THE FILLING
• 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
• 1/4 cup canned solid pack pumpkin
• Pinch of cinnamon
• Pinch of nutmeg

Directions

1. Prepare cookies: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt into a medium bowl; set aside.
2. Place butter, shortening, and sugars into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix on high speed until smooth, about 3 minutes. Add egg; mix until pale and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Mix in half the flour mixture, then the milk and vanilla. Mix in remaining flour mixture.
3. Drop about 2 teaspoons dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake until cookies spring back when lightly touched, 12 to 14 minutes. Transfer baking sheets to wire racks and let cool 10 minutes. Remove cookies from baking sheets and transfer to wire racks using a spatula; let cool completely.
4. Prepare filling: In the bowl of a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, whip together cream cheese, butter and confectioners' sugar on medium speed until smooth, about 3 minutes. Add pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg; whip until smooth, scraping down the bowl as necessary.
5. Pipe or spoon about 2 teaspoons filling on the flat sides of half the cookies. Sandwich with remaining cookies, keeping the flat sides down

Is it Fall yet?

The mountain leaves are already changing orange. Now I just need the weather to do some changing so I can start wearing the fabulous fashions for fall! I'm so ready to put on my sweaters and layer and away!

Fall Fashion Finally here!!!!!!

Fall is my FAVORITE time of year!! I got my Sept issues of Vogue, Instyle andHarpers BAZAAR and have studied them diligently and i must say I am 100% ready for fall fashions! I love everything! I just need to talk Jordan into letting me go get my over the knee boots for fall and I should be set (for some weird reason he thinks I have enough boots? Ya right!)

Four more days!!

We are going to The Lion King this Friday in SLC! We got our tickets several months ago and i have been counting down the days till we go!!! Have any of you people seen this one yet?

Guess who is back!!!

Rachel Zoe is FINALLY back!!! Oh my its been WAY TOO long! Its on Bravo if any of you feel like watching it! And now that Taylor is gone its much better! Crazy girl I would have killed for her job!

I just got back from seeing these lovely people! As well as my cute brother and sister and their families which I will post their pictures later. I had so much fun! I miss them all SO MUCH! I really think Jordan and I are due for a move to AZ!!!!

My Favorite thing!

I got my new Instyle in the mail today! Its like Christmas when I get it I wait at the mailbox like a little girl just hoping that it will come! Even if I know I'm not due for a new one for another month!

I Finally got one!!!

I FINALLY talked Jordan into letting me get a pink kitchen aid Mixer! He may be right that I NEVER cook but I told him the reason why I never cooked was because I didn't have a pink mixer! So after four years he has finally given in to my dream of having a pink mixer to put on my counter in my kitchen! Now I just need to learn to cook!

9 By Design

I am addicted to Bravo and their new show 9 By Design! They are crazy cool! I wish they could come and decorate my house! This white house with the yellow shutters is my favorite of all their houses! If you have bravo I suggest you watch this one!

Where is Spring?

It is snowing! I do love the snow but I think I am ready for spring to come!
